UtopiaCompression Awarded AirForce Contract 

• Los Angeles, CA (June, 2007)  UC has been awarded a Phase II SBIR contract by the Air Force to provide passive range detection capabilities to the Sense and Avoid (SAA) program. UC is collaborating with Defense Research Associates (DRA) for this project. UC is looking forward to extending the Air Force's SAA capabilities with its technology.

UtopiaCompression Awarded Navy Contracts

• Los Angeles, CA (June, 2007) UC has been awarded a Phase II SBIR contract by the Navy to provide a visual knowledge discovery system to the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) program. UC is collaborating with Lockheed Martin Corporation for this project.
  
  
• Los Angeles, CA (Nov, 2007)  UC has been awarded a Phase II SBIR contract by the ONR to provide a semantic – based surveillance video indexing and retrieval system. UC is collaborating with Lockheed Martin Corporation on this project.

UtopiaCompression Awarded DHS Contract

• Los Angeles, CA (Oct, 2007)  UC has been awarded a Phase I SBIR contract by the DHS to design a wearable wireless body area sensor network for first responder and health-care applications. This project being inter-disciplinary in its nature, UC is working with UCLA and medical experts on this effort.
